Phase 1 of this project has been a covered screened in porch overlooking the future site of a gorgeous custom pool on its way to completion early next spring.

Inspired by the concept of conversation pits, I wanted to rededicate this space to late night conversations around the fire, a destination for serenity, regardless of the time of day or even the weather. Their previous set up worked well for a morning coffee, but we knew this space could be so much more.

Initially we thought about bringing in lush jeweltones against a darker palette to lean into the moodiness of an evening escape, when they're most able to enjoy themselves, but later opted for a neutral, high contrast palette allowing the colorful landscaping of the backyard to sing without competition.

I'm a mom to a one year old, for instance. I love him dearly but there isn't a day he isn't grabbing at an earring or necklace😂 I also work with my hands and need to be careful about getting caught. I love that this porch feels so "fall", but so many of the pieces used can, have been, and will be repurposed for my homeowners throughout the year! 😯

🍁A blue, brown and cream mat will tie their door, brick and trim in with their seasonal decor, year round
🍁The gold lanterns and warm LED candles are great indoors or out for any season
🍁We repurposed an unused vase for the faux florals
🍁A white pot from spring plants turned upsidedown adds height and crispness
🍁All florals used were bent instead of cut to a specific height so they can serve many arrangements in the future
🍁Random Easter basket? No this is for our sunflowers now 👌🏽

I'm so happy this deserving family is now greeted by a bit of warmth each time they come home this season 😊

A client reaches out online inquiring about Virtual Design Services, he wanted to surprise his love with a beautiful backyard oasis for them to enjoy this summer!🥲🥰

☎️We chatted and connected for a brief video call where he told me all about her style and what he adores about spending time with her.
